Many people develop slumped or rounded shoulders due to long hours of sitting, using phones, or poor posture habits. Over time, this can make the spine appear curved and may affect body language, making a person look less confident.
Practicing yoga regularly can help strengthen the back muscles, open the chest, and improve spinal alignment. Two effective poses include:
- Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) – Strengthens the back, stretches the chest and shoulders, and helps counteract forward-rounded posture.
- Tadasana (Mountain Pose) – Improves posture awareness, promotes proper spinal alignment, and helps train the body to stand tall.
Doing these poses daily for a few minutes can support better posture, reduce stiffness, and help keep the spine aligned. While good posture can contribute to a more confident appearance, confidence itself depends on many factors beyond body position.
